Welcome to the CyberCity 3D Blog

New Global 3D Content in Google Earth™

December 19, 2008

It’s been a flurry of activity over here at CyberCity 3D for the past few days.  We are very excited to announce the massive upload of much of our new 3D content to Google Earth’s™ 3D buildings layer.  Many new textured models have popped up in Downtown Santa Monica, Los Angeles, and all throughout the South Bay.

In addition to a plethora of textured models, we also have several untextured architectural models available for viewing in Google Earth™.

Some of the new cities that feature our content include Sacramento, CA, Honolulu, HI, Los Angeles-area Beach cities from El Segundo down to Long Beach, and my personal favorite, Paris, France.

On another note, we started off the week by welcoming a new employee, Cris Diaz.  Cris is the latest addition to our GIS/Production department and recently graduated from UCLA with a degree in Geography and Environmental Studies.  Here he is at our company holiday party, apparently very excited to be part of the CyberCity 3D team.

Well, thats about it for now…we still have a lot of work to do in 2008.  So while you’re off enjoying your holiday time off, we’ll be here…taking over the 3D geo-web, one city at a time.
